Nicholas Tse, Faye Wong to wed in Bhutan?

Hong Kong actor and singer Nicholas Tse, 35, and Chinese Mandopop singer Faye Wong, 46, will reportedly tie the knot in Bhutan. According to Chinese media, Faye, a devout Buddhist, wanted to marry in a country where Buddhism was the national religion.

The couple might wed at the end of the year. Nicholas is busy filming the Chinese variety programme Lady Bees and the third season of his cooking show, Chef Nic, so his work schedule is packed for most of this year.

The actor was recently seen in Hong Kong having afternoon tea with his father, actor Patrick Tse; his mother, former actress Deborah Li; and his stepfather. Faye was spotted shopping in Beijing, presumably to prepare for her dowry.

Faye is said to have finally accepted Nicholas’s marriage proposal. Since their “reunion of the century” in September 2014, the pair have been rumoured on numerous occasions to be planning to marry. Nicholas reportedly proposed to Faye thrice but was turned down every time as Faye didn’t wish to wed again (her two previous marriages ended in divorce.)

The couple first dated from 2000 until 2002.
