Pregnant Annie Yi seen out and about

Taiwanese singer and actress Annie Yi, 46, was seen on Tuesday meeting a female friend at a cafe, and she looked every bit the expectant mother.

As she was leaving, Annie unconsciously had a hand on her abdomen. She walked slowly and carefully up the stairs to her home, and she carried a shopping bag from a branded kidswear label.

She was also recently seen browsing in a bookstore, and the titles she picked included ones on staying healthy while pregnant and foods to avoid for expectant mothers.

Annie’s manager said, “Well-wishes will do,” which seemed to imply Annie was indeed pregnant. Her ex-husband, Taiwanese singer Harlem Yu, congratulated her through his manager.

Annie has one 13-year-old son, Harrison, by her marriage to Harlem, which ended in 2009. Last year she married Qin Hao, a Chinese actor 10 years her junior.

Even before they were married, Annie confirmed she had paid a visit to the Shin Kong Wu Ho-Su Memorial Hospital in Taipei for a consultation on IVF treatment. “I do want to have another child, Mr Qin is ready, and Harrison hopes to have a younger sister,” she said.
