Pregnant Ella Chen shocks everyone with dance workout video
This is the result of regular exercise, says the nine-month pregnant singer-actress.
Pregnancy has not got in the way of Taiwanese singer-actress Ella Chen’s daily “workouts”.
The 35-year-old, who is due to give birth later this month, uploaded a video of herself over the weekend, dancing energetically to her song.
“[Your] mother, who is full of strength from her head to her toes, has finished all her preparations! Strong baby, come quickly, Im (sic) so ready !!!” Ella’s caption read. She added a multitude of hashtags which revealed that her strength and energy, during her pregnancy, was the fruit of regular exercise.
Ella’s husband, businessman Alvin Lai who helped film the video, also shared Ella’s post, adding, “The world’s strongest! [As the] dad, I need to train more to strengthen this middle-aged uncle’s body, seeing as both [mother and son] are full of strength!”
Ella’s bandmate, singer-actress and fellow S.H.E member Selina Jen, also spoke about the video when she showed up at a promotional event over the weekend. Selina expressed her excitement for the arrival of the group’s first child, and shared that when she saw Ella’s video, her heart “almost leapt out from my chest” from worry.
“You’re such a crazy woman,” she scolded Ella jokingly, even suggesting that the expectant mother do a live-stream when she gave birth, so as to provide “educational material” for everyone.
Ella tied the knot with her husband, Malaysian businessman Alvin Lai close to five years ago. They are expecting their first child, a boy, who is due to be born in the first half of this year.
