Rainie Yang celebrates 33rd birthday with Li Ronghao, Cyndi Wang

Taiwanese singer-actress Rainie Yang celebrated her 33rd birthday yesterday at the hito Music Awards, with her good friend, Taiwanese singer-actress Cyndi Wang preparing a cake to surprise Rainie backstage.

Apart from Cyndi, Rainie also revealed in an interview that her boyfriend, Chinese singer Li Ronghao had put in a lot of effort for her birthday as well. “His effort is more important than the value of the presents he gave me,” she confessed sweetly.

When asked if the bag, which she recently posted a photo of on Facebook, was a birthday gift from Ronghao, Rainie cheekily replied, “I didn’t say anything [about it].”

The 33-year-old also shared that her birthday wish is for her latest album, ‘Traces of Time in Love’ to win at the upcoming Golden Melody Awards, so that she will have the chance to go on stage and thank all the staff members who had worked hard on the album.

Additionally, Ronghao, who was also present at the hito Music Awards, managed to ensure that he did not bump into his girlfriend at the ceremony, to avoid being asked about their relationship.

However, reporters still brought up the topic during interviews, asking him if he will be celebrating Rainie’s birthday with her. The usually private singer then shared that they had celebrated the occasion beforehand, and that he had whipped up a special seven-course meal filled with home-cooked delicacies for her.

It was also reported that the bag on Rainie’s Facebook page was indeed a gift from Ronghao, who had taken note of the fact that she was in need of a new bag recently.

Rainie and Ronghao’s relationship was revealed in 2015, after Rainie accidentally uploaded an intimate selfie of herself with Ronghao on his Facebook page.
