Rainie Yang has no immediate plans for marriage

Recent developments in Rainie Yang and Li Ronghao’s relationship had many speculating that the celeb couple will become the next to walk down the aisle. The pair’s mothers was spotted out and about in Taiwan, looking comfortable and friendly with each other, leading to rumours that marriage talks was on the table.

When asked about the wedding rumours, Rainie, who is also promoting her new album, denied the rumours and shared, “Auntie (Ronghao’s mother) comes to Taiwan often, so it isn’t something to make a big deal about.” When probed indirectly about her relationship with the question if she’s feeling blessed, the 32-year-old declined to give a straight answer by responding, “This question is too complicated.”

She also shared that the recent spate of celebrity weddings hasn’t caused her to want to rush down the aisle, and that she will go with the flow when it comes to her eventual nuptials.

Her beau, who recently guested on Dee Hsu’s show, was quizzed about their relationship too. Rainie was asked if she was worried that he accidentally revealed their dating secrets, to which she quipped, “Who can withstand Dee’s questioning? I didn’t have it easy when I was on Here Comes Kangxi either! But that’s alright as long as we have fun.”

Clarifying that she did not make a request for Ronghao to be guest on the show, she shared that Dee checked in with her before making the request as she was worried that he would be unwilling to do so, given that he didn’t make any Taiwanese variety appearances prior to the show. She continued that she had no worries about how he would do on the show, “because he’s pretty talkative.”
