Actress can’t take newborn son out for strolls

All are equal before the haze — even Taiwanese actress–model Sonia Sui has been stuck indoors due to air pollution in Singapore.

On Monday, Sonia shared two photos on Facebook showing the poor weather and its effect on her family. Her husband, Tony Chia, is seen in one standing on their balcony staring out at the grey skies beyond.

“The disappointed father,” Sonia wrote. “Lately the air in Singapore is uncommonly hazy and charred, even adults can’t make it outside, and though Tony prepared strollers to take Max for a walk by the harbour, he’s helpless now.”

Fans left her comments telling her not to venture out, that infants shouldn’t go out before they pass their first month, and that they could push the strollers around indoors instead.

Sonia gave birth to her first child, Max, in Singapore on August 30 and has been recuperating in the country.
