Stefanie Sun’s secret to a happy marriage
The one thing that all men must learn, according to Singapore songbird Stefanie Sun
At the event, Stefanie likened her album to that of a “baby” that took three years in the making. The 39-year-old also collaborated with her younger sister to “produce” her second baby - a limited edition wind breaker available for purchase in two colours.
Given the attention showered on Taiwanese actress Kelly Huang’s marital problems with her husband, basketball player Ho Shou Cheng, over the past week, Stefanie’s marriage to her Dutch-Indonesian businessman husband Nadim van der Ros ( the couple tied the knot in 2011 in a low-key ceremony) became a topic of discussion at the press conference.
When asked to share her secret to a happy marriage, the Singaporean singer acknowledged that it’s “common” for couples to have arguments and quarrels, but added that she and Nadim are both “self-aware” of their emotions and would take the initiative to apologise if either party crossed the line.
Earlier in November, Stefanie revealed her intentions to have baby no. 2 next year and her friends and family have been very supportive of her decision. “If there’s any news we’ll be sure to share it firsthand with everyone, I’m really looking forward to this day too,” she said.
The mother of a five-year-old toddler shared that she is not consuming any form of traditional Chinese medicine to help boost her chances of pregnancy and plans to take it easy with regards to getting pregnant again.
