Tiffany Hsu, Ethan Ruan rumoured to have reconciled

Taiwanese actors Tiffany Hsu, 31, and Ethan Ruan, 33, are reportedly back together after their shocking split this March.

Friends close to each of the actors said Tiffany was recently overheard chatting via a voice messaging app and the voice on the other end belonged to Ethan, and the two sounded friendly and warm.

The sources added that Tiffany had never officially declared a breakup from Ethan but that the pair had entered a cooling-down period, despite Ethan’s cheating on her for the fourth time and hurting her so much she packed up her belongings and moved out.

Furthermore, Tiffany’s friend said that the actress had never been dating actor Wang Po-Chieh, 26, her co-star in the crime thriller White Lies, Black Lies and a friend of Ethan’s. Instead, the rumours were an act to make Ethan jealous.

Tiffany’s friend added that the actress felt bad for Ethan, who has been in poor form since their separation. “Tiffany will move back for sure, it’s just a matter of time,” the friend said.

The actress’s manager declined to comment on her private life.

Tiffany and Ethan split in March over suspicion that he had cheated on her four times during their eight-year relationship.
