Tony Leung waits in the cold while Carina Lau shops in Japanese drugstore

Hong Kong actors and married couple Carina Lau and Tony Leung have been sighted in Japan recently.

According to Chinese media, Carina and a female friend were shopping in a local drugstore while Tony waited outside in the frigid air bundled up in a down jacket.

Internet users praised the actor for being considerate and left comments including, “That’s what a man should do!”

Carina turned 50 on December 8 but Tony was filming in Thailand that day, so this Japan trip may have been a belated birthday celebration for Carina.

The couple married in 2008 after dating for nearly two decades.
