Vivian Dawson takes a sly dig at Jolin Tsai

After calling it quits with Taiwanese Mandopop princess Jolin Tsai, model Vivian Dawson has been linked with a number of potential new squeezes such as BY2’s Miko and fellow model Akemi.

Recently, Vivian shared more about his criteria for his next girlfriend in an interview, and commented that his next partner must not be too short.

The model, who stands at a towering 1.88 metres, shared that when he was in New Zealand, he could stand tall and proud. However, when he came to Taiwan, he had to continually bow his head. He also divulged that he was worried that it might affect his health, and that dating a taller girl will be better for him.

“[Dating a taller girl means that I] do not have to continually lower my head, and cause discomfort to my waist and neck. I’m getting older, and have to be considerate to my waist,” he said.

Jolin, who’s known for being petite, has yet to respond to the reports. However, a national basketballer has spoken up for her.

Ha Xiao Yun, who was present at the press conference for two variety programmes by Chung T'ien Television, couldn’t help but yell, “Ask him [Vivian] to drop dead,” when the reporters asked him about the model’s comments.

The two metre tall basketballer then revealed that he was a fan of Jolin, and that he thinks Vivian “used his girlfriend’s name to become famous, a useless loser”. He also shared that in his opinion, Vivian should not make such cynical remarks after breaking up. Xiao Yun then let on that his previous girlfriends were not exactly blessed in the height department as well , and were around 1.56 to 1.58 metres only.

Vivian and Jolin dated for six years, and announced the end of their relationship in December last year.
