Wallace Huo flares up at passer-by for secretly filming his daughter

Taiwanese actor Wallace Huo is known to be fiercely protective of the privacy of his 11-month-old daughter with Taiwanese actress Ruby Lin. Recently, he appeared on the talk show, A Date With Luyu, where he recounted an incident where he lost his temper at a passer-by.

The actor, who has never revealed any personal information about his daughter, nicknamed ‘Little Angel’, shared that he does not wish for his daughter’s growing-up years to be affected by the fact that her parents are celebrities.

Wallace let on that when ‘Little Angel’ was born, he didn’t dare to bring her out at first, as he was worried that she’ll be secretly photographed. As time went by, he gradually became less worried, though he still took great pains to ensure that she remained anonymous.

However, he once spotted a passer-by who tried to secretly take photos of Little Angel, causing him to lose his temper on the spot.

“I brought my daughter out to the park to play, and the passer-by recognised me, and when we walked past them, he made use of the opportunity to take a picture, it was just too ridiculous,” he recounted. The actor then went on to share that he was so angry, he immediately asked the passer-by to hand over his phone, so that he could delete the pictures that were secretly taken.

The actor admitted that on hindsight, he should start to “let things go”, as he believes that eventually, Little Angel will be recognised and photographed. Now, he’s more relaxed about his daughter, and privately showed the host, Lu Yu, a picture of her, revealing proudly that “her eyebrows resembles mine”.

The first-time father also shared that he burst into tears the minute he saw his daughter.

“When I carried her for the first time, the waterworks started immediately. I’ve never felt like there was anything that truly belonged to me in this lifetime, including my savings and my name. But in that very moment, I felt as if I finally had something that belonged to me,” the actor said.

Wallace and Ruby tied the knot in Bali last August after being friends for many years. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl nicknamed Little Angel, in January this year.
