Wallace Huo reveals how he proposed to Ruby Lin

Wallace Huo and Ruby Lin tied the knot in Bali in August and have been openly sharing more details about their relationship since. The longtime friends have been spotted on multiple dates after getting married, and have also announced that Ruby is pregnant with their first child.

Speaking for the first time about the proposal on talk show The Jinxing Show, Wallace confessed that he has had an inferiority complex since he was young, along with being more passive in nature. He was often worried about being rejected in relationships and doesn’t like bothering others with his personal affairs, which is why he kept his proposal a secret.

After preparing himself to pop the question, the actor, who is not fond of crowds, decided to go down on bended knee in front of Ruby’s good friends and declared, “Let’s get married!” after presenting her engagement ring. She said yes to the cheers of her loved ones gathered, and the pair got married shortly after.

Explaining why he seemed to look less than pleased during his big day, Wallace clarified that he has been camera-shy since he was a child and will always show the same expression regardless of how he feels, giving others the impression that he has a lot on his mind. He then professed that he was “really happy” on his wedding day.
