Wu Chun reveals his wife’s face for the first time

Bruneian actor Wu Chun married his wife, Lin Liying, in 2009. During their nine years of marriage, the 38-year-old actor has always been very protective of his wife’s identity, and had refrained from placing her in the public eye.

On Valentine’s Day yesterday, the actor personally revealed photos of his wife’s face for the first time over Weibo, giving fans a pleasant surprise.

“Since everyone is always curious, I shall be generous [and reveal them],” Wu Chun wrote, “Today marks our 22nd Valentine’s Day together. She is the partner who works hard behind me.”

One of the photos show Wu Chun sharing a drink with Liying, while the other showed the couple smiling happily with their two children, 6-year-old Nei Nei (Wu Xin Yi) and 4-year-old Max.

The actor thanked everyone for their well-wishes over the years, which gave him courage to eventually reveal his wife’s identity.

Liying has always been a subject of curiosity among netizens, as she has always kept her face hidden behind a mask in public. She would also often turn her back to the camera during her appearance on popular Chinese reality TV show Where Are We Going, Dad?, which features Wu Chun and their two children.
