Ariel Lin can’t make it to Lin Chi-ling’s wedding

Taiwanese model-actress Lin Chi-ling and her husband, Japanese actor and EXILE member Akira, will reportedly hold their wedding reception in Tainan on November 17. According to media reports, it will be an intimate affair with only family and close friends in attendance.

One celeb pal who managed to make it onto the exclusive guest list is Ariel Lin, but unfortunately, we won’t be seeing her at the ceremony after all.

“I received an invitation and I’m very flattered, but unfortunately, I already have plans that day so I won’t be able to make it,” said the Taiwanese actress during a public appearance at a jewellery exhibition in Taipei yesterday (Nov 7). “I’m also not sure who else has been invited.”

However, Ariel will make it up to Chi-ling for her absence by preparing a nice wedding gift. “I’m still thinking of what to get for her. It’s so difficult! She’s such a kind-hearted and thoughtful person who deserves only the best,” she gushed.

Earlier this year, Ariel shared that she intends to put work on hold in order to try for a baby with her husband, businessman Charles Lin. When asked if she has been successful, the 37-year-old laughed and admitted that it’s still a work in progress. “I don’t really care if I have a boy or girl as long as the child is healthy.”
