Cherie Chung asks the public to give Sammi Cheng space

Cherie Chung attended a promotional event for a skincare brand in Hong Kong. At the age of 59, the former actress still looks youthful, and she was asked for how she takes care of her appearance.

"I eat light food and exercise often. My only indulgence is traveling and I'll be going to Europe for a two-week holiday soon. Losing weight is a woman's life work," she said.

She was also asked about her good friend Sammi Cheng, whom she has known for years.

"Sammi is a wise woman and she handled the matter well," Cherie said. "Please do not mention this as she needs time to heal. (If you ask her about it), it'll only hurt her." She added that she hopes that everyone, including the public, will respect Sammi at this point of time.
