What “valuable treasure” does Aaron Kwok hope to leave his daughter?

Aaron Kwok attended a special preview of a luxury vehicle showroom in Macau yesterday (Jul 25), arriving in style in a private plane.

“I feel like I’ve just achieved my childhood dream of becoming a pilot!” he gushed. However, he admitted that he may not dare to actually get a flying licence. “I don’t know if it’s because I’m getting more and more timid with age. I’m also quite a careless person, so I’m worried that an accident might happen.”

The 53-year-old singer-actor doesn’t seem to have the same concerns when it comes to driving, judging by his impressive collection of sports cars. “I bought my first sports car after successfully completing my first solo concert in 1994,” he revealed. “And I’ve been collecting them ever since because I think they make good souvenirs.”

The topic then changed to his eldest daughter, whom Aaron said has a natural talent for music that he is trying to nurture. “If she really wishes to learn the piano, then I will get one custom-built for her,” he said. “I hope that when she grows up, she can tell her friends, ‘My dad gave me this valuable treasure.’”

Meanwhile, Simon Yam’s stabbing has been the talk of the town for the past few days, so Aaron was naturally asked to share his thoughts on the incident as well. “I was shocked when I read the news, and I wish him a speedy recovery,” he said. “I think this should serve a reminder for celebrities to be vigilant and attentive when attending public events.”
