Jacky Wu is getting over exclusion from Jay Chou’s wedding

Jacky Wu who was very vocal with his unhappiness over his exclusion from Jay Chou’s Taipei wedding in February surprised everyone with this decision to perform a cover of Jay’s song.

Two days ago, the news stirred up curiosity amongst netizens when Jacky revealed his plans to sing ‘Be Careful All The Way’, a song that his former protégé wrote with multi-Golden Melody Award nominated lyricist Vincent Fang as a blessing to Jacky’s wish to retire completely in June 2009.

When asked to clarify about the news, the actor-singer merely said, “I sang this song six years ago and I’m going to bring it back again. This is not a new original whatsoever.”

Projected to be on his upcoming album, the beautiful song is about a devastating break up story between a boy and a girl.

The 52-year-old added with a laugh that he would not be awkward performing the song again because “the song sounds nice” and that he and Jay “never had any problems”.

Regarding his non-invitation to the wedding, Jacky admitted that he’s getting over it, saying, “The truth of the matter is, I just have to live with it.”
