Hong Kong singer Leo Ku made an announcement yesterday that he and his assistant-cum-wife Lorraine Chan plan to hold their wedding banquet on November 11 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Hong Kong.
When asked about his reason for selecting the date, the 42-year-old simply explained that “the hotel’s ballroom happened to be available on that day” and it’s also an “auspicious date”.
Regarding his preparation progress, Leo said that he has “personally organised the details (the invitations, cake and venue layout)" and is even planning to design a wedding dress for his wife “if [he has] the time”.
He’s also noted that his wife does not want a grand or spectacular wedding, and has kept his plans “fairly simple and traditional”.
Leo was also questioned about whether he had any surprises in store for his wife, after which he smiled and replied, “I’m still thinking about whether or not I should sing for her. I’m considering singing ‘Finding You Is My Greatest Accomplishment’, but I have yet to plan the itinerary. ”
Apart from close friends and family, many celebrities from Hong Kong and Taiwan such as Louis Koo, Nicholas Tse, Joey Yung, Ruby Lin, Vivian Chow, Alec Su and Zhao Wei are reportedly on the invitation list.
The pair married in July last year in Las Vegas after their long-running low-key relationship hit the 20-year mark.
