Former actress Lin Feng-jiao is reported to have visited her son Jaycee Chan, who has been jailed for over 60 days after he was arrested for marijuana abuse and possession in August.
As Jaycee is charged with a criminal offence, he has only been allowed to speak to his lawyer so far. However, reports claimed that Feng-jiao was extremely upset after she managed to meet her son recently. “I’d rather be the one who is in jail,” she cried.
Nevertheless, Jaycee’s manager refuted the reports and insisted that Feng-jiao has remained in Hong Kong the entire time.
Meanwhile, Jackie Chan, who has avoided talking about his son at public events, has resumed filming for action-comedy movie Skiptrace. Despite rumours stating that Jackie plans to postpone the release of new film Dragon Blade, the production company clarified that the movie will open in cinemas next February as planned.
“Jackie has always valued his work greatly. He will not let his personal affairs affect the whole team. This movie is of high importance to him, so he would devote himself into promoting it,” a representative from Jackie’s Taiwanese agency said.
