Entertainer might have had too much fun in the water while shooting promo shots for October Hong Kong harbour swim

Mermaid Joyce Cheng suffers wardrobe malfunction?
Hong Kong media reports Joyce Cheng might have suffered a nip slip while shooting photos underwater to promote the New World Harbour Race in Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour next month.

The only daughter of Hong Kong actor Adam Cheng and the late comedian Lydia Sum spent two hours underwater in an uncomfortable mermaid costume. But when the photos were released, the 28-year-old appeared to have exposed herself accidentally.

Joyce was reportedly conducting an interview while in the swimming pool at that time, and may have been so focused on waving her mermaid fin that she didn’t notice the strong waves were shifting her bustier top out of position.

“I really like swimming, but I have never tried swimming with this (tail) on, it’s tough,” she said then. “But it’s been fun, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the photos turn out.”

When asked about the suspected nip slip, Joyce said, “It couldn’t have happened, I took precautions.”
