Malaysian singer-songwriter Penny Tai announced yesterday that she will be tying the knot with her Taiwanese boyfriend Sidney Lu, whom she has been dating for five years, on Dec 27. The couple registered their marriage in August, and will be throwing another banquet in Penny’s hometown next year.
Penny also posted a photo of the wedding invite on her official website. On the invitation card, it reads “P.S I Love You” where alphabets “P” and “S” were inspired by the initials of their names.
She wrote: “It’s finally time to give out the invites! Thanks Reach for designing and customising the cards. We hope to share our happiness and gratitude with you!”
To refute rumours of pregnancy, the 36-year-old stated that she will be releasing a new album and staging her concert at Taipei Arena next year. Therefore, Penny will only think about baby-making plans when she is done with her work on hand.
Sources also revealed that the wedding, which would be held at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in Taipei, will take on a “party format” so that the couple’s family and friends can have fun together.
