Photos of Jay Chou and Hannah Quinlivan’s Taipei wedding venue leaked

The total sum of their lavish wedding ceremonies in England and Taiwan is said to cost over S$1 million

Photos of Taiwanese multi-hyphenate Jay Chou and wife Hannah Quinlivan’s wedding venue in Taiwan were recently leaked by netizens.

The newlyweds would hold a wedding banquet tonight (Feb 9) at W Hotel in Taipei, inviting approximately 20 tables of guests, mostly being veteran Taiwanese artistes like Chao Hsia-yan, Jody Chiang and Chang Fei.

It is said that Jay Chou had specially planned for a banquet in Taipei to make it up to his 90-year-old grandmother, as she was unable to take a long distance flight to witness his wedding ceremony in England previously.

The 36-year-old only returned to Taipei yesterday night as he had remained in England after his wedding ceremony at Selby Abbey last month to film a new movie. In the meantime, his mother was placed fully in-charge of the banquet’s guest list while his colleagues at JVR Music helped with the decoration of the wedding venue.

Netizens released photos of the hotel’s interior, showcasing an opulent dining hall and a big outdoor pool booked by the couple. The pool was refurbished with carpets, shelters and heaters to transform it into a warm and dreamy banquet venue. Jay’s guests can also expect an array of food from an exquisite buffet spread.

In all, the couple’s wedding ceremonies in England and Taiwan are said to total up to NT$27 million (approximately S$1.14 million).
