An androgynous-looking fan driving an Audi R8 worth NT$10 million (approximately S$430,000) tailed Show Luo’s car after the singer’s fan meet ended on Monday, insistent on escorting Show home, according to Taiwan media.
Show’s driver reportedly shook the fan off halfway, and the singer returned to his NT$150 million (approximately S$6.45 million) pad in Taipei’s Neihu district under security escort.
More than 1,000 attended Show’s fan meet event on Monday, and the friendly star hugged and took photos with them after his performance, even though he joked that their photos of him were unflattering.
“Back then when you took photos of me at the airport, mobile phones weren’t this advanced yet, so I’d always stop and chat with you,” he told them. “Now you take photos of me wherever I go — I have to keep my head bowed and even wear face masks.”
After the event ended, Show announced his plans for a new album to be released in November.
The singer owns nine properties in Taipei worth NT$320 million (approximately S$13.76 million), including two in Neihu district. He received an unexpected boost in the number of his fans when he indirectly admitted in June to dating Chinese blogger Grace Chow.
