Taiwanese actors and singers Ruby Lin, 39, and Jerry Yan, 38, were spotted getting off a cab together at her home sometime after 1 a.m. on December 13, after they were seen behaving intimately and talking almost exclusively to each other at a group dinner.
On the night of December 12, a group of older actresses including Pauline Lan, 50, and Chen Meifeng, 59, met for dinner at a new restaurant in Taipei’s Da’an district, and Jerry was the only thirtysomething among the party.
The actor reportedly looked dull and was either spacing out or looking through his phone.
About an hour later, Ruby showed up late. After greeting the senior actors, she parked herself right next to Jerry and began chatting with him. Ruby also raised her glass to others at the table and Jerry followed suit.
According to Taiwanese media, Ruby would unconsciously lean towards Jerry every time she laughed, and the two were so engaged in conversation they seemed oblivious to the other actors and entertainers present.
After the dinner ended at about 1 a.m., Jerry and Ruby shared a cab and left the restaurant together, but they both alighted when it got to Ruby’s home, with Jerry seen walking behind the actress.
