Video of Jay Chou and Hannah Quinlivan’s fairytale wedding goes viral

A two-minute video of the wedding has been released by JVR Music

The internet has been abuzz with commentary on Jay Chou and Hannah Quinlivan’s fairytale wedding, after JVR Music released a two-minute video of the grand affair on Sunday.

In the company of their families and close friends, Jay and Hannah tied the knot in Selby Abbey, an Anglican Parish church in North Yorkshire, England on Jan 17.

The wedding photography was helmed by acclaimed photographer Liang Su (Vivian Hsu’s brother-in-law) whereas video footages were captured by Jay’s good friend, Taiwanese music video director Jennifer Wu. Known for his attention to details, Jay self-composed the wedding song which was performed “live” by a 20-piece choir.

In the video, Jay appeared to be so nervous that he had problems coordinating his movements at one point. However, the scene which was most talked about among his fans was the sweet kiss that the couple shared after saying their vows. “It’s so romantic and touching. It’s like a music video!” a netizen exclaimed.

An after-party was held at Castle Howard that night. After news of the wedding broke, nearly 100 local Taiwanese students and tourists rushed to the venue for a glimpse of their idol.

As temperatures dipped to a low 4-degree Celsius, Jay specially went to meet his fans waiting outside the castle. Besides obliging to photo requests, the multi-hyphenate even treated the fans to hot chocolate and snacks.
