VIP (BIGBANG fans) can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel with YG Entertainment’s latest declaration that BIGBANG will make their comeback in April.
Speaking to Korean news outlet TV Report, the label’s CEO and founder Yang Hyun Suk revealed that they are planning for the quintet to return at April at the latest, adding that there is a possibility of the comeback to be pushed forward.
Sharing that the GDragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri are spending all their time in the recording studio, he expressed that he felt sorry towards their fans for having to wait for the group’s return for so long.
CEO Yang also disclosed that most of the recordings have been completed, with the members choosing to give up on their Lunar New Year holidays in order to finish up the remaining recording at the soonest.
Emphasising that there will be no need to postpone their long-awaited return, CEO Yang let on that BIGBANG will be the first of the YG male groups’ to have their comeback. Their label-mates WINNER and iKON will then take turns to release their respective material in one-month intervals.
BIGBANG last released their mini album Alive and its repackaged version Still Alive in February and June 2012 respectively.
