Girl’s Day cursed at on Gaon red carpet

Girl’s Day were cursed at on the red carpet of the annual Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards, held at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul yesterday (Jan 28).

The trio walked the red carpet sans Hyeri, who was absent as she was in the midst of preparing to host the night’s awards show together with Super Junior’s Leeteuk. Yura, Minah and Sojin were posing at the photo wall when loud curses in Korean started to be clearly heard.

In numerous videos uploaded, swearing such as “Get out!” and a harsher, “Get out you b*tch!” were distinctly heard over the rest of the crowd’s screams. The members maintained their professionalism by posing for photos until a staff member called for them to move on for the next artiste to proceed to the photo wall.

Netizens have speculated that the curses were directed to them due to Sojin’s recent dating rumours with EXO’s D.O. While both sides have strongly denied any relationship between the pair, Numerous EXO-L (EXO’s official fan club) have voiced their displeasure against the female idol.

The 28-year-old even went as far as locking her personal Instagram account after she was flooded by an influx of negative comments allegedly from EXO-L.

In related news, Girl’s Day has confirmed that they will make a comeback in the first half of the year, following I Miss You last October.
