INFINITE’s Woohyun sells out debut solo album

INFINITE’s Woohyun has sold out all 50,000 initial copies of his debut solo album, Write. The physical album was scheduled to go on sale yesterday (May 10) but was entirely sold out during the pre-order period the day before.

His label, Woollim Entertainment, has shared that Woohyun’s album is now under urgent production so that they can put more albums out on the market for fans to purchase. They stressed that even though they would ideally be able to release them at the soonest, but that it would take some time because of the strict quality control for the album.

Fans are said to have been initially elated at the news, but later found out that Write.’s position on the rankings were slipping from its top spot. They then expressed their frustration that they are unable to push his sales further to a lack of stock available to purchase.

Woohyun will have his first solo stage tomorrow on weekly music programme M! Countdown.
