It’s been almost a year since the shocking car accident that took away the lives of two rising stars happened on September 3. Ladies’ Code member Eunbi was pronounced dead at the scene whereas RiSe succumbed to her injuries four days after.

While the remaining members Ashley, Zuny and Sojung have been reported to have moved back in together in April, they are still receiving counselling and leading normal lives while focusing on honing their vocal and dance skills.

Their agency, Polaris Entertainment, confirmed that their memorial concert, I’m Fine, Thank You, will be held on August 22 at the Shinagawa Stellar Ball in Tokyo, Japan. The concert has special meaning because the group had always dreamed of having overseas promotions. RiSe was also born in Japan.

In addition to the surviving members, other Polaris artistes, including Kim Bum Soo, Yang Dong Geun, Ivy, Rumble Fish, Sun Woo and Han Hee Jun will be attending the event.

Polaris has confirmed that the proceeds from the concert will be donated and used for a memorial project.
