Following a successful two day run in Tokyo of the SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR IV in JAPAN, artistes from the entertainment giant were spotted making their way back to Korea. Among those arriving was EXO, of which member D.O. sparked concern when he was pushed out in a wheelchair.

Fans first knew of the injury when he apologised on stage on July 6, the second day of the concert, for being unable to perform as per usual with the rest of his members, choosing instead to take a seat in the middle of the stage instead.

It was later revealed by label S.M. Entertainment that he lost his footing as he was coming off the stage. They continued that he received an examination at the hospital immediately and was diagnosed with bruises. Stressing that his bones and ligaments were not affected, the company went on to assure that D.O. will be involved in less physically taxing activities while his situation continues to be monitored.

D.O. has received praise for his strong vocals and budding acting talent – his most recent cameo on ongoing drama I Remember You was lauded by many for breaking the stereotype that idols cannot act. He is also slated to play the lead character in an upcoming movie, Pure Love.

SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR IV in JAPAN will continue its run in Osaka on July 25 & 26.
