SHINee’s back after over a year of their absence, this time with their fourth full length album, Odd. The album will be released on May 18, ahead of their solo concert in Seoul from May 15 to 17.

The title track, ‘View’, was revealed to be penned by Jonghyun, who has composed for other artistes including label mates EXO. He is reported to have edged out thirty others to earn the right to pen the lyrics for their title track.

‘View’ is said to be an upbeat house track which speaks of the beauty of love. Their label, S.M. Entertainment, has uploaded several videos and images with the album’s concept but has left fans curious on what their new tracks will sound like.

It was widely speculated that they would hold their comeback when the concert announcement was made, given that the group announced that they were preparing for one at a press conference at their Tokyo Dome concert.

SHINee’s last Korean studio album was Everybody, which was released in October 2013. The quintet will return on May 18 with Odd.
