Fans of Super Junior have been teased with news of the group’s rumoured comeback, with members dropping subtle hints via their social media accounts. It seems that their speculations can be put to rest as label S.M. Entertainment has confirmed that the group is in the midst of album preparations.

While they have yet to confirm a date, it said that Super Junior will make their return in July, after label mate Girls’ Generation. Super Junior last released their seventh studio album MAMACITA in August.

This comeback will be the first album Yesung will participate in after his return from his military service. This year is also the tenth year since the group debuted, which means this album will also serve as a commemorative one.

Hints dropped by the members on their respective social media accounts have ranged from the frequent appearance of the number 23 in posts made by various members. In addition, Siwon also uploaded a photo of him in what looked like a studio, with the caption “we are preparing something special for you. #ELF”.

Girls’ Generation’s impending comeback will also be keenly watched as it will be their first full album after Jessica departed from the group last year.
