UKISS’s Eli to headline Chinese Full House remake

The show will begin filming in December and is slated for a release next year

Comic book series Full House was first brought to life in 2004 by Rain and Song Hye Gyo with a Korean drama of the same name. Following which, Full House Take 2 was graced by No Min Woo and Hwang Jung Eum.

Production company Group Eight announced that a Chinese remake of the popular franchise is in the works, with UKISS’s Eli picked to headline the drama.

Group Eight has previously released hit series such as Princess Hours (2006), Boys Over Flowers (2009) and are currently producing Cantabile Tomorrow, a Korean remake of Japanese manga Nodame Cantabile.

The drama will hold its first press conference on October 23 in Shanghai and is slated to start filming in December and to broadcast next year.
