Korean actor Yoo Seung Ho quietly enlisted in the Korean military in 2013 after filming for his drama I Miss You wrapped. With the two-year mandatory service coming to an end, he has confirmed that he will be discharged from the military on December 4.

The 21-year-old made headlines for his decision as many male entertainers choose to enlist when they are around the age of 29. He drew praise from the Korean public for his choice as he chose to serve in the active duty instead of opting for less rigorous alternatives that are available to entertainers. He has been training recruits at the Division 27 Recruit Training Center since his enlistment.

Yoo Seung Ho gained a loyal following after participating in dramas such as God of Study, Operation Proposal and Arang and the Magistrate. He has yet to confirm his comeback project and has not revealed if he will be greeting the media and public on the day of his discharge.

Reports have stated that Yoo Seung Ho and Go Ara have been offered leading roles in an upcoming drama, Joseon Magician and that the two are considering the project.

Joseon Magician is slated for a 2015 release.
