Amber Heard has been cast as Mera in 'The Justice League: Part One'.
The 29-year-old actress is joining the DC Comics universe as the underwater queen - and the wife of Aquaman - for the hotly-ancitipated movie and for the standalone film 'Aquaman', which is due for release in 2018.
When asked if she'd tried the costume on by Entertainment Tonight, she said: "Yeah, yeah I have. It's interesting. It's like, half suit of armour, half scales.
"I don't know, it's strange. But we're in the process of building it now, so it's coming along."
Meanwhile, Amber will be joined by Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck in the film, with the stars reprising their roles as Superman and Batman respectively.
And Henry previously admitted he could play the character forever.
Of the role, the 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' star gushed: "It's a wonderful role. There's a huge potential there for complex storytelling, and I'm looking forward to exploring those avenues. Come on, it's Superman! You can't be p****d off at the idea of playing Superman for the rest of your life."
He jokingly added: "Oh sorry, I'm just the grandaddy of all superheroes. It's such a pain."
