Bruce Jenner's recent car crash was captured on camera.

Police officers in Los Angeles have obtained video footage from an MTA bus of the four-car pile-up that left one person dead and seven others injured earlier this month.

A law enforcement source confirmed a recording of the incident is in their possession, but declined to discuss details.

However, another source alleges the footage shows the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star struck both a Lexus and a Prius, and claims neither of the other vehicles made contact with each other.

The insider told gossip website TMZ.com that Bruce hit the Lexus, which propelled it into oncoming traffic and then struck the Hummer, and the 65-year-old star then hit the Prius.

Bruce, who is believed to be in the process of a gender transition, was recently said to have told the police there was no way he could've avoided the collision because the driver of the Lexus slammed on their breaks.

The former Olympian previously released a statement about the crash, which resulted in the death of his neighbour Kim Howe, and vowed to cooperate with the police investigation.

He said: "My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident.

"It is a devastating tragedy and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them. I will continue to cooperate in every way possible."
