George Clooney has praised his wife Amal Alamuddin for being an "amazing human being".
The 54-year-old actor has listed all the qualities he admires in his spouse - who he married last September - but says top of the things he admires in the human rights lawyer is her compassion for others.
Speaking about what he loves about his spouse, he told 'Entertainment Tonight': "She's an amazing human being. And she's caring. And she also happens to be one of the smartest people I've ever met. And she's got a great sense of humour."
George and Amal, 37, have been enjoying the first eight months of married life and the couple are still very much in the honeymoon stage of their union.
However, the 'Tomorrowland' star admits they do clash over his love of sport and desire to watch it on television every weekend.
He said: "I watch sports and it kills her because I got her into March Madness a little. She got into that, but it was enough, so the next week was the Masters, and I'm watching that and she goes, 'So every weekend we're going to be watching a sporting event.' I'm like, 'Actually, that's how it works.' "
