Kerry Washington enjoyed watching her body change during her pregnancy.
The 'Scandal' star gave birth to her first child Isabelle, with whom she has with her husband Nnamdi Asomugha, 11 months ago and she has admitted she liked seeing her figure expand and adapt when she was carrying the tiny tot for nine months.
She told 'Entertainment Tonight': "The best thing about pregnancy is watching your body become a sight of miracles. It's sort of science fiction and sort of miraculous."
The 38-year-old actress developed a strong bond with her baby as soon as she locked eyes on her and she believes it's "special" that most mothers can relate to that feeling.
She explained: "I wish somebody had told me, 'You're going to feel like you're part of the most special club ever.' Because when you become a mum you do instantly feel bonded."
Meanwhile, the brunette beauty, who is known for remaining tight-lipped on her personal life, believes Isabelle is the exact replica of her husband of two years Nnamdi.
When asked how her daughter is doing, Kerry said recently: "[She looks] just like her dad."
