Kristin Cavallari is scared about leaving her children with a babysitter for Valentine's Day.

The former 'The Hills' star, who has two sons, Camden, two, and eight-month-old Jaxon with her Chicago Bears player husband, Jay Cutler, admits she feels uneasy about going out on a date with him tonight (14.02.15) because he has asked one of his best friends to take care of their children.

Asked about their plans for the romantic holiday, the blonde beauty said: "Jay just told me that he made really great dinner reservations, and he has one of his best friends babysitting, which is a little scary. It's like, 'Oh, that's who is babysitting? okay...' But it is one of his good friends, so it'll be pretty hilarious."

The shoe designer, 28, recently started lifting weights because she "can look really skinny" if she isn't careful, and admits is very competitive with NFL star Jay, 31, in the gym.

She told E! News: "I'm right there with him, if not a little bit more.

"I work my butt off in the gym, I do a lot of weight training with a trainer and I try to eat real, whole foods rather than all the processed c**p."
