Lily James "can't even commit to watering plants" because she's so busy.

The 26-year-old actress first made a name for herself in 'Downton Abbey' before landing leading lady roles in movies such as 'Cinderella' and the upcoming 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies'.

With her slate getting more full by the day, Lily has had to change certain aspects about her life - namely being forced to rehome her beloved cat Coco.

She said: "It makes me want to cry, but it was really unfair on her. I'd love to still have her, and I'd love to have a dog, but I can't even commit to watering plants at this point."

Lily is well aware that many super famous celebrities with pets have private jets - as that's the only international mode of transport animals are allowed on.

But she knows that the prospect of having her own jet is a while away yet.

She added to Britain's Glamour magazine: "I don't have a private jet - maybe one day!"

Despite her rising profile, Lily remains incredibly down to earth.

It's not a case of jets or limousines for Lily, who admits she feels like she's lost herself after her bicycle was stolen six months ago.

She continued: "I left it outside my flat for about six months and it got nicked. I need to buy a new one!"
