The duo are divorcing
A man has been fined for telling a woman he doesn't love her.
The Supreme Court of Appeal in Turkey determined that the man's remark constituted 'emotional violence' and he was forced to pay compensation, the Daily Sabah reports.
The couple, who are going through a divorce, traded various insults as their marriage came to an end and a lower court initially ruled that their hate-filled remarks were as bad as each other.
However, the woman claimed one particular insult left her "an emotional wreck" and the higher court decided to side with her.
