Over a third of Brits still have feelings for their 'first love', according to a new study.

Some 62 percent of people regularly think about what their first love is up to.

A spokesman for 'The Best of Me', who commissioned the research to mark the Blu-ray and DVD release of the film, said: "For many of us, our first love is just that - the person you first fell in love with when you were young, before your lives went in different directions and both moved on.

"Considering meeting your first love is such a major milestone in your life, it's no surprise to see so many of us still think of them years down the line."

'The Best of Me' is available on Blu-ray and DVD now, courtesy of Entertainment One.
