Sam Smith has got a tattoo for his fans.
The 'Like I Can' hitmaker revealed the new inking, a small anchor on his left arm and dedicated it to his "little sailors".
Sharing a photo of the tattoo on Instagram, he wrote: "For you, my little sailors. (sic)"
It is not the first thing the 22-year-old singer has got to remind himself of his loyal supporters.
Earlier this year, Sam posted a snap of a necklace, which was in the shape of an anchor with two swallows above it, which he says he bought so he could always have his fans with him.
He wrote on Instagram: "I just got this. So you'll always be with me little sailors x (sic)"
Since sharing the photograph of his new inking to his 3.6 million Instagram followers, his fans tweeted their idol to say they were overwhelmed by the star's decision.
One wrote: "@samsmithworld I have tears rolling down my cheeks (sic)"
Another added: "@samsmithworld awww thanks sam we love you little sailor forever xxxxx (sic)"
Whilst other supporters praised the singer for being the "best idol".
A fan wrote: "@samsmithworld you are the best idol an inspiration. I'm so proud of you I love you (sic)"
Another shared a photo of her own anchor inking, writing alongside it: "Forever a Little Sailor, forever connect with my captain (sic)"
