Taylor Swift surprised fans with gifts, money and her presence

Often labelled as America’s sweetheart, Taylor sent a couple of her fans Christmas gift packages and handwritten cards last year, as a personal way of thanking them for supporting her.

Once, she even surprised a fan by showing up at her bridal shower. Yeah, she was invited, but the fan didn’t know she would actually show up.

And that’s not all, she even gave a fan $1989 (yep, like her album title) to pay for her student loans.

Apparently, Mila not only attended, but she was also a good sport as he described, “She’s just a normal girl who was very interested to learn about our history and our traditions and what the ball was all about… She was interested in meeting all my friends.”

Good things come to those who wait... in line

Some of the fans who waited in line for their favourite celebrities ended up being treated to sweet surprises, like when Lady Gaga gave her fans US$1000 (S$1370) worth of customised pizza and when 5 Seconds of Summer showed up unexpectedly at their ticket sale to personally sell tickets to their fans.

There were fans who literally had a “sweet” surprise when Ariana Grande turned up with cookies and cocoa for her fans waiting outside the Victoria Secret Fashion Show, as well as when Cheryl Fernandez-Versini gave her fans waiting in the freezing cold some nice hot cocoa.
