We round up our favourite artistes’ snaps of the past week

Felicia wanted to have “a little fun” by showing up to the Star Awards Part 1 in a saucy, see-through gown, but it caused poor Elvin a bit of confusion about the appropriate places to “look”. #shyshy #stopdoingthisoutsidetheguystoilet” is how he captioned this cheeky shot. Oh Elvin, this is easy – just look into her eyes!

Anyone else notice how Jeremy took a wefie with pretty much everybody on the red carpet – except for his rumoured lady love Jesseca Liu? Oh well, that sly cutaway to his face after she picked up her Top 10 trophy was enough to get tongues wagging again, anyway.

Ya Hui (@yahuiyh)

Apparently, Ya Hui’s fans tried to give her a big bouquet of roses on the Star Awards red carpet, but she missed it because she was too busy smiling for the cameras and trying not to step on her gown. “I've been feeling very bad. Sorry @teamyahui,” she wrote, tagging her official fan club.

Some commenters also took her words as an apology for not getting into this year’s Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes. “It's okay!!! Be strong! You'll get it next year,” said one. Jiayou, everybody!

Wow, this just proves that Michelle Chong is the master of disguise. Did anyone see her at last Sunday’s Star Awards dressed as a Pornsak fangirl? Because we certainly didn’t, and neither did Pornsak!

We’re keeping a much sharper eye out at Part 2 tonight.

Busy bees Bonnie and Jayley Woo jetted off to Malaysia the morning right after Star Awards to shoot a new Channel 8 travel show, and Bonnie has been making us envious with picturesque beach shots over the past week. Ah, the perks of their job…

The hot mama posted an explanation as to why she attempted to share a cheem (complicated) phrase from Zhuge Liang’s book Jie Zi Shu, which she learned during a travelogue shoot in China, while accepting her tenth Top 10 trophy on stage last Sunday (and subsequently messing it up, but we don’t blame her one bit). In her caption, she wrote that the phrase, which roughly translates to “one can’t have lofty aspirations without a peaceful state of mind”, aptly describes her current situation and she wanted to share it with everybody. “I’m not afraid of not saying it correctly, I’m only afraid of missing the opportunity to learn,” she continued.

Later on, Joanne shared new photos of Baby Qi, one of her on her first MRT side, and another of the tot admiring a postcard her mama sent on her first trip away from her. We’re still patiently waiting for the day when we finally see Baby Qi’s face and learn her name…

Huang Wenyong’s The Awakening co-star shared a throwback shot and tribute to the late actor. “I miss you, my old friend,” she wrote. “Today when I was talking about the early difficult days of filming, I couldn’t stop bringing you up, especially because today is the third anniversary of your death.”

Pierre also remembered the veteran actor with a black-and-white photo taken during Wenyong’s wake. “Three years ago, today - you left us. My mentor. My confidante. My friend. Always in my heart.”

Wenyong passed away from lymphoma on April 20, 2013 at the age of 60.

Michelle Chong celebrated her 39th birthday on Friday (April 22) and her good gal pal Cynthia celebrated with a cake and heartfelt wish on Instagram, which read, “Glad that we worked together 6 years ago on Mrs P.I and became close friends. Thank you for bringing so much fun and laugher to everyone's lives for the different roles you create. Happy Birthday Michi !!!”

The birthday girl herself also shared a picture of herself with a different cake (we wonder how many she had this year?), together with a caption saying thank you to her “AMAZING friends and family who celebrated with and for me, and those who will be celebrating with and for me in the coming weeks!!”

Happy belated birthday, Michelle!

For some reason, Yvonne’s darling little son AJ seems to get a kick out of getting teased by this daddy for farting. Every time Alex Tien went “AJ just [mimics farting sound]”, the precious tot would respond with the most adorable laugh. Happy babies are definitely the best babies!

A cute wefie, flowers, happy expressions and a bunch of heart emojis in the caption (Jeffrey also commented “Thank u” with emojis as well) – could we be expecting to hear some good news from Felicia and Jeffrey Xu any time soon, if you know what we mean?

Anyone here remember Mika Chung from Star Search 2010, where Romeo took the fourth spot? The old pals met at a mutual friend’s wedding and quickly took the chance to snap a shot together. Time certainly flies indeed – it’s been six years since they were both on the show together!

We’re getting scared just looking at that intimidating pile of books. “Spent the afternoon in a lawyer firm to get ready for the new show. Guess what's my next role?” teased the duke. Wow, Zhen Huan, we have no idea, do tell!

Wow, is it getting hot in here? Nat and Jae Liew – a.k.a. Jay and Diana from Channel 5’s Tanglin – participated in a sizzling photo shoot for a men’s underwear brand, which prompted some pretty amusing feedback from his followers, such as “OH” “MY” and “GOD” (yes, that was three separate comments from the same user). Well, we guess Nat can have that effect on people.
