[2016 MAMA] Twice Wins the HotelsCombined Song of the Year Award

Girl group Twice has won the HotelsCombined Song of the Year Award.

On December 2, Twice shed tears after receiving the HotelsCombined Song of the Year award at the 2016 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) held in Hong Kong.Twice shared, "We received the New Artist award last year and we have been given another precious award, thank you. We are happy just releasing music, but thank you so much for such a meaningful award. Thank you fans."

Meanwhile, the 2016 MAMA, Asia′s top music awards, is holding its 8th ceremony in Hong Kong. The awards began in 1999 as Mnet Km Music Festival and after about 10 years of being held in Korea, the event was held for the first time outside of Korea in 2010. It was held in Macau in 2010 and has since been held in Singapore in 2011 and in Hong Kong from 2012 through 2015.
