Big Bang’s G-Dragon pranks fans with relationship scare

Korean boy band Big Bang’s rapper-singer G-Dragon was sighted leaving a night club on Sunday (Jan 8) with an unknown female, whose face was hidden under the hood of her jacket. Said female was about to lift up the hood of her jacket, but was stopped by G-Dragon, who pulled her into his arms and escorted her through the swarm of fans and paparazzi, to protect her identity.

Despite covering most of her face and dressing casually, die-hard fans of the rapper managed to identify the female as Korean girl group 2NE1’s Dara from her nail polish. Dara and the rapper go way back as they have known each other since their rookie days, which led fans to believe that they might be dating.

Following the rumours, G-Dragon’s management company explained that the 28 year-old rapper is not in a relationship with Dara and was merely playing a joke on Dara when they were leaving the night club as they had previously mentioned casually that they should take some intimate selfies to prank their fans.
