Top Korean male group BIGBANG will be confirming its comeback date in the coming weeks. Their label, YG Entertainment, confirmed that the members are still working on the album and that details of their long-awaited return have yet to be set in stone.

YG previously shot down rumours of BIGBANG’s April comeback but speculation was reignited after it was revealed that the Jamsil Olympic Stadium in Seoul was blocked out for what seemed to be a BIGBANG concert from Apirl 24 to 26.

In response, the label stressed that the arrangement was made in advance in line with BIGBANG’s practice of holding concerts alongside their album releases, and that no final decisions have been made. They also refuted rumours that BIGBANG’s label-mates, WINNER and iKON, will be the opening acts for their upcoming concert.

The entertainment giant previously declared its intention to have BIGBANG, WINNER and iKON release new material in one month intervals starting with BIGBANG in April. It remains to be seen if they will be able to make good on their stance that there will be no need for their respective comebacks to be postponed.

BIGBANG last released their mini album Alive and its repackaged version Still Alive in February and June 2012 respectively.
