VIP can look forward to seeing a good five months of BIGBANG as they revealed their unique comeback strategy. The group will release a single album on the first of every month in the months of May to August, which will ultimately conclude with the release of their full album on September 1.
Their label, YG Entertainment, confirmed that the releases will be single albums instead of digital singles, and that the upcoming release on May 1 will consist of a minimum of two new tracks.
BIGBANG has been busy with their first comeback in three years, with their music videos reportedly being shot under tight security in Los Angeles and Seoul. The band members participated heavily in the making of the album, raising anticipation levels amongst fans and music industry insiders on what their comeback song will be.
With the quintet slated to kick off their world tour in Seoul tomorrow, VIP are arguably most excited about being the first to listen to the group perform their new song at the show. BIGBANG has announced their plans to hold 70 performances in 15 countries with this tour.
They have only confirmed Asian stops thus far, with Singapore, China, Thailand and Indonesia among the planned shows.
BIGBANG 2015 WORLD TOUR ‘MADE’ in Seoul will take place on April 25 & 26 and BIGBANG’s first single album of the series, tentatively titled M, will be released on May 1.
