EXO Picks Up Award at ′Korea Broadcasting Awards′

EXO has won the Singer Award at the 42nd Korea Broadcasting Awards.

EXO was awarded the honor at the Korea Broadcasting Awards, held at the MBC headquarters in Seoul′s Sangam-dong on September 3.Su Ho, Chan Yeol and Baek Hyun walked up to the stage upon being named the winner. Su Ho said, "Thank you for giving us such a big award. Thank you to Lee Soo Man, our SM family and all of our loving fans."

He continued, "We′d like to share this award with the camera directors and writers who work hard from early in the morning. We will be K-Pop stars who always try our best."

The top honor went to MBC′s Infinity Challenge. MBC′s Mask King was awarded the Variety TV Award, while KBS′ ′Yoon Il Byung Assault and Death Case Exclusive Report Series′ was recognized in the News Report TV category.

The late Jin Pil Hong, KBS′ former variety director, was awarded the Achievememt Award, while Jo Jae Hyun was awarded the Actor Award and Yoo Min Sang was awarded the Comedian Award.

The Korea Broadcasting Awards began in 1975 in order to inspire creative will and improve broadcast program production. It is held on September 3 every year.
